Dr Trevor J. Hutley
General Manager, Product & Technology Development
A global polymer-industry specialist, Trevor Hutley graduated from Brunel University, UK, in 1977 with a first-class BTech in Polymer Technology. His research at Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK in thermoplastic composites earned him a doctorate in polymer engineering. In 1991 he completed his executive MBA summa cum laude at BSL, Switzerland, specializing in finance and marketing.
A Chartered Chemist, Chartered Scientist, Member of The Royal Society of Chemistry, Member of The Institute of Materials and a Senior member of the Society of Plastics Engineers; with professional experience with 12 companies and organizations including Dunlop, DuPont and Lotus Engineering; based in the UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong and The Middle East.
Dr Trevor joined Sipchem in October 2009 to create the R&D dimension of Sipchem, with a primary focus on the creation of the new SAR 80m Product and Application Development Centre [PADC] at the Dhahran TechnoValley.
